Canadian textile designer Victoria Johnson previously worked for Helmut Lang and Kate Spade before founding her own accessories label in 2001. The scarves and wraps for which Johnson has become so well known begin life as watercolour paintings that are then later silk screened on to fabric. Johnson draws inspiration from her travels and from nature, particularly birds, water, trees, flowers and animals. Lightweight merino wool wraps for Autumn Winter include abstract looking prints of flying geese as well as painterly images of penguins in both coffee and berry colours.
